Option 2 supply the complete system £90.00+ Carriage costs, including the cost of the jack. If you dont want to take the board out, we do a 2-3 days service where you ship us the complete system and we do the replacement., our terms are still the same, if there is any other fault we will still just do the socket replacement Please note this is for a socket replacement, sometimes other problems occur with boards when a socket fails, we only cover the socket replacement itself, not any other problems with the sytems, due to shorts / surges, or burn damage

Service involves:

1. You send us the main board only
2. We remove and replace the DC socket, jack only
3. We check the jack is connecting to the main board only

We do not get involved in:

1. Whether the board works or not
2. Whether the board tracks out or not
3. Whether the board shorted with  a power surge when the socket gave up.
4. Whether there was an additional fault developed when the system was disassembled.
5. some of the above faults are common when a jack fails

We are only willing to do a simple mechanical replacement of the power/dc socket (hence the price)

No warranty given on anything except to the point where the socket connects to the board.

But if you are not happy with through hole technology, this is an easy cheap way to have it done by people that do hundreds.
